Wildflower garden and pond

These photos were taken in one garden I've project managed, measuring 20ft x 15ft (6.096m x 4.572m).  This wildflower garden and pond were created in April 2012.  .

Make your green space(s) more inviting to wildlife - it's easy and doesn't take long.

Wildflowers are just as colourful as plants found in garden centres and nurseries and they offer more for our pollinating insects, such as bees, in terms of pollen and nectar. Vivid Cornflower; Poppies; Mallows; Oxeye Daisy; Wild Foxglove: Wild Daffodil, etc, are all easily obtainable.  There are thousands of wildflowers though, each with its own soil preference. Some are creepers (growing close to the ground), e.g. Creeping Buttercup; some are short, e.g. Wild Dog Violet; others grow tall, e.g. Foxgloves, Poppies and some grow taller still, e.g. Hollyhocks (that can grow over 5ft (1.52m).  Broad leaf; narrow leaf; round leaf; heart-shaped leaf and so on, also add variety and dynamics to your garden.  If you don't want to turn your whole garden over to wildflowers, why not create a wildflower corner or strip?  I'm always happy to advise.
